How do I add my local games (from an exe file)?
To add a local game, click the + Add Game button in the top left of the application. This will open a file dialog where you can navigate to
the directory containing your Touhou game executable (exe) file.
Once you've selected the exe file, Scarlet will automatically create a WINE prefix for the game
and set it up for you. You can then launch the game directly from Scarlet.
How do I add games from Steam?
Adding games via Steam differs slightly since Scarlet currently uses THCRAP internally to add
and manage Steam games. This may change in the future. It's important to note that
Scarlet does not automatically detect Steam games yet, so you will need to manually add them via
THCRAP.
To add a Steam game, first ensure that the game is installed via Steam. Then, click the Relaunch
THCRAP button to relaunch the THCRAP installer. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and select the folder of the game you want to
add. Scarlet creates a virtualized Steam library by symlinking your Linux games.
Troubleshooting common issues
- Game fails to launch: Ensure that WINE as well as any required dependencies are properly installed.
